The Department of International Trade would like invite you to the UK Education Roundtable Seminar : UK EDUCATION FOR INDONESIA,

THE EVENT :
The event will be an education briefing style seminar where we will be reintroducing UK Education Capabilities to the Indonesian stakeholders (please refer to invitees list).
Welcome remarks from Joel (Director of DIT) and opening speech by Richard Graham to speak of the current RI-Indonesia relationship, how UK education is considerable one of the best in the world, There will be a presentation, showcasing different UK edu offers/capabilities that could support the education sector in Indonesia.
A panel will also be present, consisting of 3 UK companies who are already in Indonesia. This will allow them to present their current collaborations in Indonesia and illustrating how other Indonesian edu institutes could follow along. A Q&A session will be available after panel presentation. Networking session at the end of event.

OBJECTIVES :
The objective is to amplify UK offers/educational capabilities to the Indonesian Edu stakeholders
This is an opportunity to gather all of them together and illustrate how and what they need to know about potentially working together with UK firms that benefits their institutions.
The event is also an opportunity for my DIT team members to cross sell education within their sector, for example for maritime training or technical English training, leadership development programmes.

08:40 Opening Remarks Richard Graham MP (The Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to ASEAN EC, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines to provide opening remarks establishing Indonesia-UK business relationship and brief overview of UK Education.
08:50 Presentation:
UK Education Capabilities
A presentation will be conducted by Theresa O’Mahony-heer, Political Counsellor Jakarta (Education Coordinator) from the British Embassy Jakarta to share what the UK can offer to support Indonesia regarding education.
